Ben brings with him a wealth of experience, expertise, and a shared vision for the future of Gassen. Prior to joining Gassen in 2022 as Chief Operating Officer, Ben was President of Metro Mold & Design, a plastics injection molding company, in Rogers, MN for over four years. Previously, Ben was with Honeywell International for 23 years and served in a variety of sales, service, and general management roles throughout the Americas. With a proven track record of leadership and a deep understanding of our industry, we are confident that Ben is the right person to steer us toward continued success.
Outside of the office, Ben is an author and enjoys mentoring others with his book “Jumpstart Your Future.” He is an active high school basketball official with the Minneapolis Officials Association. Ben has been a boxer, a coach, a band member, and a competition cribbage player. He has visited all 50 states and has been to 171 professional baseball stadiums. Ben and his wife Gretchen have three adult children, have a passion for travel, and enjoy being active together in the outdoors. He earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Maine and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
As we embark on this exciting transition, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to Kirk Gassen for his dedication, leadership, and countless contributions to Gassen Company. Kirk took over Gassen Company for his parents, Reggie and Catherine Gassen, in 2013 and has had tremendous success since then. Under his leadership, we have achieved significant milestones and established ourselves as a leader in the Twin Cities HOA Management Industry.
Kirk will remain heavily involved with the business from his owner’s seat. His visionary leadership will continue to help shape the company's direction. His legacy of innovative ideas and commitment to excellence will serve as a constant source of inspiration for Ben and the rest of the leadership team, ensuring that the company stays true to its core values while embracing new opportunities and challenges.
